Default Weather Tracking - January 8, 2009

UDA Weather Tracking gives Premier and Catalyst or above clients the ability to automatically track weather conditions on each project. This TotalCare Only feature provides detailed reports of temperature, wind speed, precipitation, humidity, etc., accurately logging project conditions for each of your projects.

Weather Tracking data can be found under the Project Log.

Weather conditions can be recorded every 4 hours, every 12 hours, or daily. By default ConstructionSuite is set to record the weather conditions daily.

Weather Tracking Options can be changed from the main menu of ConstructionSuite main interface: Tools -> Options -> Weather Tracking Options.

Depending on the level of detail you want to see for weather conditions you can adjust the record intervals accordingly.

We've included a small five day forecast since the release of the 2007 product. We hope the advanced weather tracking features will prove useful in post project schedule analysis and help with more effective scheduling in the future.

It's hard to say. We use the US NOAA weather data that is provided by the goverment. To provide weather tracking for Canadian Customers, we'll need to find a similar source of Canadian weather data that is free to reuse\redistribute.
