Using the Costbook CSV format to import the HomeTech Cost Database

Ross, It feels like I am getting closer?

1. The file is created and saved.
2. Opened UDA.
3. Opened an (any random) estimate.
4. Clicked the database button and opened it.
5. Selected Tools and have the following options...
- Insert Items into Estiamte
- Insert Assemblies inot Estimate
- Duplicate Costbook
- Set Lowest Quote as Default
- Import Items from QuickBooks
- Options

I do not see your option #5. Select Tools -> "import costbook csv".

In Excel, Under Help / About UDA Estimating / UDA Estimating 2009 (SR-1.0. EXV-11.0)
Computer is running Windows Vista Business, Service Pack 1
Microsoft Excel is 2003 (11.8307.8221) SP3

Any suggestions?
