UDA,
If you are using QB as the main integration program, why not mirror thier language, etc. to eliminate confusion? Ex: Customer vs. Client, Job vs. Project, etc. A small detail but the closer you mirror QB the easier our transition would be in understanding. Also more drop down menus with <add new> at the top (QB), I like the drop downs that you do have, much handier. Maybe drop down menus for cost book items, specification, notes, description, etc. instead of a window, again same as QB? I can tell you how to layout a rafter, but you guys have to figure this out? I would like to see more connection, links from estimate to specs to proposal to reporting, etc? Change one and the other is updated automaticaly. With QB this is done all the way through. I don't see that clean connection with UDA. One more thing, I wish I could transfer my current estimates (memorized) into UDA, this would save alot of rebuilding? All in all I love the program and am having fun setting up, I am still a little nervous syncing yet, but building confidence each day. Keep up the great work! I looked for years and kept comming back to UDA and finally made the commitment, and I know you are commited back to us users. Last edited by Martin Const.; February 20th, 2010 at 11:33 AM. |
